Abstract Submissions
Submission deadline
Abstract submission for the Third Meeting of the EASD Study Group on Genetics of Diabetes (EASD-SGGD) will open on April 2st, 2011.
The submission deadline will be June 17th, 2011.
Submit your abstract by following steps below
- Read the abstract submission instructions.
- Submit your abstract per email to Dr. Daniela Gasperikova (daniela.gasperikova [at] savba.sk) before 12 pm CET, June 17th, 2011.
- Late-Breaking Abstract submission will open on August 1st, 2011. The submission deadline for Late-Breaking Abstracts will be September 1st, 2011, before 12 pm CET.
Selection Process
- Review Process: All abstracts submitted to the conference will be peer-reviewed through a blinded review process.
- Selection Criteria: Relevance for the scientific meeting, originality of work, adequacy of data, and clarity of exposition are the determinants in the selection of abstracts. The final decision with respect to selection and programming of any abstract will be made by the International Programme Committee.
- Selection Decision: Abstracts may either be selected for (1) oral presentation, (2) poster presentation, or (3) not selected.
Abstracts selected for oral or poster presentation will be published in an Abstract Booklet.
Abstracts instructions
IMPORTANT: Register for the meeting before you submit your abstract for consideration.
- Abstract maximum length is 300 words /excluding the title, author names and their affiliation/ (Arial 11pt).
- Abstract title should appear in all capital letters.
- Please list the authors and affiliations directly under the title, and underline the name of the presenting author.
- All abstracts should be structured with an introduction, aims, methods, results and conclusion.
