Registration

General Information

  1. Registration for the Third Meeting of the EASD Study Group on Genetics of Diabetes 2011 is by payment of the appropriate registration fee and completing the on-line registration form by 17th of June, 2011.
  2. Registration fee includes the participation in the meeting and attendance to all conference sessions and all congress materials. Registration fee also covers accommodation (in shared rooms), all lunches and coffee-break refreshments, and all social events including the catering.

    Accompanying person * 300 Euro 350 Euro

    * Registration includes the same services (accommodation, meals, social program, etc.) as for regular participants, excluding participation in and attendance of the scientific programme. Due to the limited capacity of Smolenice Castle, the number of accompanying persons is strictly limited to one per delegate only.

  3. Participants are expected to cover air/train/car travel expenses to the venue themselves.
  4. Your registration will be confirmed via e-mail after receiving the registration payment.

Important note on accommodation:

Congress participants who will register late for the meeting are at risk of not being accommodated at the Castle. Instead they will be placed to a nearby hotel. Participants arriving with accompanying persons will be accommodated outside the castle as well. Transportation between this hotel and Smolenice Castle will be provided free of charge.

Conditions

  • Registration shall be open from April 2nd, 2011, and closed by June 17, 2011. To validate the registration we must receive your payment no later than two weeks after receipt of the completed registration form.
  • Due to limited capacity of the Smolenice Castle, meeting registrations will therefore be treated on a “first come first served basis”; preference will be given to the active participants.
  • Congress participants, who register later, will be accommodated at a nearby hotel. Local transportation will be provided.

Cancellation Policy

  • Registration fees are not transferable.
  • Registration fees will only be refunded, if the notice of cancellation is received by Professional Event Organizing Company (EMERGE) before August 31st, 2011. The cancellation fee is 25 Euro. Cancellation after August 31, 2011(starting September 1, 2011 CET) and no-shows are not eligible for a refund.
  • Notice of cancellation must be sent to Professional Event Organizing Company (EMERGE), email: registration [at] emerge.sk.
  • Any claims must be received by Professional Event Organizing Company EMERGE not later than one month after the last day of the conference. Any later requests can't be handled.
